Century Street - Celebrating 100 years of the Daily Mail Ideal Home Show
Johnstone Events created a walk through visitor experience of 1150sqm combining all aspects of the last 100 years. Liaising with various museums, interior and landscape designers and the shows sponsors, we created a massive central attraction for the Daily Mail Ideal Home Show. Containing a street with various cars exhibits, gardens with children and their toys from throughout the century and a full size street façade. Behind the house facades we created and furnished rooms sets combined with static displays of household products from the ten decades. Around the queuing area we created a vibrant graphic timeline of the Daily Mail Ideal Home Show since its beginnings. Johnstone Events co-ordinated all the design, fabrication, build, product sourcing, graphics and AV and also the daily operation of the attraction at the Daily Mail Ideal Home Show.
