Watersports Action Pool at the TP London Boat Show 2012
Working with water again!
The task - to install a 68m x 26m pool inside the Excel Centre with
wakeboarding, freestyle kayak, paddleboarding and sailing demos. Add in all
the facilities for the public to be able to access the water and try all of
these sports. And lets have a theatre on the side of the pool to showcase
speakers from the various sports.
Johnstone Events created this attraction at TP London Boat Show for the 2011
and 2012 shows at Excel.
The pool holds over two million litres of water and takes 36 hours to fill.
Johnstone Events designed and created all the facility and co-ordinated the
build, av and management for the duration of the show on behalf of National
Boat Shows.
